How can you take drinking water from air?
The AwG machines extract humidity or vapor from the atmosphere through an advanced patented process. The water is then passed through a filter bank comprising of 3 filters, UV Light and ozonate process to purify the water into ultra-pure, healthy, drinking water.
Is the water produced by AwG clean and safe?
Yes, AwG generators produce clean water that is safe to drink and great tasting. The air is first passed through air filters to remove air-borne impurities. The clean air is then processed through the new technology to generate pure water from air. The water is then passed through an industry standard filter bank to filter out impurities and deliver fresh drinking water. This is pure water that is generated from air and has never touched or accessed the many contaminants found in the ground.
What happens to the atmosphere if we remove the water vapor?
Nothing at all! Water is replaced in the atmosphere through evaporation and instantaneous equilibrium is reached much faster than our air water generators can remove water from the atmosphere. Water is constantly being drawn as vapor into the air through nature’s evaporation process. Reducing humidity increases human comfort levels and typically improves air conditioning efficiency.
Is there enough water in the air to quench everyone’s thirst?
There is an estimated 3.1 quadrillion gallons of water in the atmosphere at any given time. Another estimate is that the atmosphere holds more water than all the rivers, lakes and streams around the world combined. This is earth’s second largest reservoir of water after the seven seas. This source is virtually untapped as a source of drinking and cooking water even though it would be adequate to quench the thirst of human beings many times over. Nature forms vapor by evaporating it from the contaminated land and water that can become rain or snow. This is nature’s way of supplying water to all land life.
Can I really get clean drinking water from air without all the impurities?
Absolutely! The AwG filter bank is industry standard and removes all impurities to produce clean, healthy drinking water. Public water supplies taken from the ground, often rely on chlorine or other water treatment systems to meet what our governing bodies have determined to be safe for human consumption. Water is introduced in the atmosphere through a process of evaporation while the contaminants remain in the surface ground water thus making water present in the atmosphere one of the purest forms of water known to man. For example, sea water is salty due to the salts and other contaminants present in it. However, when water evaporates from the sea and is introduced into the atmosphere, salts and other contaminants are left behind in the remaining sea water. Like nature returns the water vapor suspended in the atmosphere through rain, the AwG generators duplicate the same process in condensing water out of the atmosphere through the refrigeration cycle. How are bacteria and other germs removed?
AwG begins with water vapor in the air. Particles are first filtered from the air using air filters. The vapor condenses to water; micro-organisms and impurities are then removed through an industry standard filter bank comprising of 3 filters The water is constantly exposed to UV light and an ozonation process which prevents and eliminates any microbial growth to deliver pure water into your glass.
How much power does AwG machines consume?
The AwG machines are extremely efficient using minimal amounts of energy to deliver pure water. Depending on local electricity costs and humidity, one gallon of water generated will cost about 10 cents delivered to your glass or pitcher. The price of producing water with AwG is less than 10% of bottled water at $1.45.
Does the AWG units have special power requirements?
AwG units – by design — operate on standard power in the U.S.A. and Canada. Power requirements can be readily altered to adapt to the local standards of any country in the world which includes optional solar power. AwG machines are ready to adapt to optional solar panels for remote or isolated areas; ask your AWG representative.
Is an AwG machine difficult to install?
AwG products are self-sustained units – require no water lines or external plumbing. These Air-to-Water units are easily installed; essentially plug-and-play units. Depending on humidity levels, within a short time you will have your own renewable source of pure water in your glass ready to drink and cook with – no more heavy bottles to lift or recycle. The digital display tells the air temperature, humidity level, when to service filters etc.
Will the machine overflow when full?
Our state-of-the-art AWG units have advanced controls that will stop it from generating water when full. If under rare circumstances an accidental leak should occur the machine sensor will turn the AwG unit off to prevent flooding.
What taste or smell does the AwG water have?
How can we describe good tasting, odorless water? AwG begins with the air you are breathing. It then filters that air to remove airborne particles, making the air you breathe cleaner than it is now. The water produced by AwG is passed through an industry standard filter bank to give you chlorine and fluoride-free water. Why do I need a AwG is there something wrong with my tap water?

What about bottled water, isn’t it safe and clean?
Many more articles and reports have been published revealing that much of the bottled water is just reprocessed tap water. It has grown into a billion-dollar industry. Some government studies have shown over 30% of the bottled water tested is unsafe for humans. Plastic bottles are shown to emit even more toxins to the water it contains, especially when stored in sun-heated containers. Also, plastic bottles take decades to decay and are becoming a mountainous menace in our landfills, lakes, and highways.
Is water produced by an AWG better than bottled water?
Water produced by an AWG machine is equivalent to the best water on earth. Bottled water, in many cases, is filtered city water reprocessed in a manufacturing plant. Some bottled water companies claim “spring” water. A spring is NOT automatically safe, and the companies do not guarantee that all their water is, in fact, clean and contaminant free. AwG is your best source of clean water. Further, bottled water is more than 10 times as expensive as water produced using air water generators.
Is water from an AWG as good as the water coolers in offices with the 5-gallon bottle on top?
AWG water is tested cleaner and purer than any 5-gallon bottled water on the market today. Another issue is that if the water in your 5-gallon bottle is pure and clean, the water cooler is still another major pollutant problem. The cleaner the water, the faster bacteria tends to grow. Those water coolers seldom get the weekly or monthly cleaning recommended by their manufacturer. Studies show that the bio-film, slime, algae and bacteria that lives in 95% of those coolers tested are contaminating the water before you can drink it. Further water produced by air water generators is more than 10 times cheaper than 5-gallon water bottles.
What is the cost and quality of AwG water when compared to bottled water?
AWG units will produce water of better quality and much more economically. When you calculate the cost of the water, the cost of the bottles, the transportation cost of delivery, the potential back pain from lifting those bottles, the cost of recycling or disposal, and the increasing non-recycled bottle issues, it does not compare to AwG at $0.10 – 0.11 per gallon.
Will my AwG give my home or office any other benefits?
Yes! Your AwG will also help purify the air and assist your air conditioner while making your air more comfortable by converting that humidity to drinking water. AwG water is the safest for most people.
What temperature and humidity do I have to have for the water machine to work?
The Dew machines will work with humidity as low as 30%. Most places in the world have at least that amount of humidity. Although production will be lower at lower humidity, the machines will still produce water. Replace with “The AwG machines will produce some water with humidity as low as 40%.
How often will my AwG need to change the filters and is it hard to do?
The WATER filters will need to be changed at least once a month. The filter set is easy to change and install – can be accomplished by most owners. The AIR filter should also be checked once a quarter changed as necessary.
What does it mean to be ETL Listed?
The ETL Mark is proof of product compliance to North American safety standards. Authorities Having Jurisdiction(AHJs) and code officials across the US and Canada accept the ETL Listed Mark as proof of product compliance to published industry standards. Retail buyers accept it on products they’re sourcing. And every day, more and more consumers recognize it on products they purchase as a symbol of safety.
What is the difference between UL and ETL?
There is no difference between in UL and ETL. They are two separate certifications.
What is NSF certification?
The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF International) writes standards and provides testing and certification services for point-of-use (POU) and point-of-entry (POE) drinking water treatment systems and components. Testing can include material safety, structural integrity and contaminant reduction testing.
Is the water mineralized?
Yes, the minerals that are added are Magnesium, Calcium, Sodium, Potassium and Zinc.
Is the water alkaline?
Yes, the water is at a 7.0 – 7.5 pH.
